Leanne Kilroy is a London-based interior designer, known for her laid back yet elegant style. Since launching her practice, Good Bones, she has been featured in publications such as the The New York Times, The English Home, Wall Street Journal, Homes & Antiques, Living, Etc., House & Garden, Domino Magazine, Remodelista, Forbes Home, House Beautiful and The Sunday Times among many others.
Growing up in New England, Leanne was surrounded by interior aesthetes from a young age: her father owned Boston's cult vintage furniture store, Danish Country, and her intuitive approach and style are partly influenced by the many sourcing trips she made with him.
Leanne is available for one-off design consultations, full house redesign, and everything in between—from layouts to sourcing and procurement, she is passionate about helping her clients create spaces they love. The process is accessible, intimate and looks different for each and every project.

She never set out to build a brand or a business – only a home. “I’m not a very ambitious person,” she says. “My self-esteem doesn’t come from achievement. I just do what feels right, and if something stops being enjoyable, I move on. I have a lot of creative energy – it spills where it spills.”
Perhaps that’s what gives her home its particular magic: the quiet confidence of a space that’s been loved into being, not designed to impress. “It’s not perfect,” she says. “But that’s the point, isn’t it? A home should grow with you. It should tell your story.”

“Leanne Kilroy knows a good thing when she sees it…Clearly, Leanne has vision. Just take a look at her kitchen. When the couple purchased the home, “it was a boarding house, with a second kitchen upstairs and lots of chopped-up spaces, and it wasn’t in the best condition. The main kitchen was, quite literally, disgusting,” she tells us. Undaunted, Leanne sketched out plans for an extension involving Shaker cabinets and lots of skylights and windows (“the best way to describe what we were going for is a “Victorian orangerie”)—and trusted in her vision.
